Okay, Where Is That Flea Now

A slightly ignored news piece. Recently reported that a 16 year old girl in Oregon has been diagnosed with Bubonic Plague.  Ammazingly enough, it's been so long since anyone even mentioned Bubonic Plague, that my spell checker questioned my spelling of the word Bubonic.  Perhaps the computer in all it's wisdom didn't think I should capitalize the word Bubonic.  There are places and points in time when this modern wisdom clashes with the wisdom I have gained in my 66 years, and this is one…

Florida 16th District

I sent an email to Rep Vern Buchanan (R)

You've lost my vote, Congressman Buchanan.

>  Buchanan has been targeted by conservative media for not standing up to defund Obamacare. As Nathan Mehrens, president of the Americans for Limited Government, explained: “When it counted, Representative Buchanan was nowhere to be found in the fight to defund Obamacare.”

Buchanan has said he wants to repeal Obamacare, but when pressed has said he would like to keep certain…

Romney. And I Voted For This Two-Faced Hypocrit!

Budget Betrayal: GOP’s Path to Victory … for Hillary

CNN reports that GOP leaders will attempt to ram the deal through as early as tomorrow (Wednesday).

Of course, by giving the president the spending and borrowing authority he wants, Republicans forfeit the leverage to demand concessions from him in policy battles over the final 15 months of his term. Obama gets a green light and a blank check.…

Boehner's "Gift" That Keeps On Taking

He was thorwn out of his Chair because he catered to Obama's every desire. Now, Boehner's final "F-You" to his constituents; the American people; and our economic stability as a whole, is to raise the Debt Ceiling, and the spending, which, of course, would include funding Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and Obama's illegal amnesty - just to name a few.

But, wait!  Theres more!  As an added "bonus", if the House GOPers act now, the proposal would not only cover one Fiscal Year; but…

Benghazi's Other Victims

The mainstream media is loath to admit it but Hillary Clinton had a very bad day testifying before the Benghazi committee. When Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) confronted the former Secretary of State with her own emails concerning the 2012 terrorist attack, Mrs. Clinton flailed gracelessly and backpedaled from previous statements.

The emails concern the motive for the attack and its perpetrators. It was never about “The Innocence of Muslims,” a Youtube video that portrayed the…

Hillary Clinton, Matthew Hopkins and Cotton Mather

"No. We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices ... Government has to make those choices for people." – Hillary Clinton

If Hillary cannot trust the American People, why should we trust her?

When I read the Constitution I see where the…

Biden In The Rose Garden?

For that?!

The Biden speech reminded me of Justice John Roberts opinion on Obamacare back in 2012 - where it was intended and drafted to mean one thing only to be editted at the last moment to portray a totally different conclusion.

Biden's could have announced that he wasn't going to run on a Tweet. Which could've been followed up at the news networks.

His speech read like an acceptance speech where the "I will be running" was scratched over and replaced with…

The House According To Ryan

It would seem that the wolf is shedding its sheepish skin as Ryan puts forth conditions (ultimatums?) if he's going to accept the Speakership.  But these conditions that changes House standards seem to be aimed exclusively at the House Freedom Caucus, the conservative group in the HoR that have been creditted (or blaimed) for John Boehner's early retirement from Congress altogether.  Imo, his retirement didn't come early enough.

So, Rep. Paul Ryan said that he'd run for the…

One, Two, Charlie's Coming For You...

Like that slimy mold and mildew that shows up uninvited on bathroom tile, such is the political chameloen, Charlie Crist.

Once again, the former Florida governor is at it again. In 2010, Crist e ran what supposed to have been an encoronation-election, for the US Senate seat. Despite the full weight of Florida's RNC supporting him, Crist lost miserably against…

Why Jim Webb 'Don't Get No Respect!' in Today's Democratic Party

Former Senator Jim Webb was something of a wallflower during last week’s Democratic debate, though not because he didn’t want to get out on the floor and dance. He said afterward that he believes the debate was rigged to favor Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, leaving the lesser known candidates—himself, Martin O’Malley, and Lincoln Chafee—confined to the sidelines. When the floor was his he seemed perturbed and complained that he wasn’t getting as much time…

The best decision that I ever made...

President Barack Obama said picking Vice President Joe Biden as his running mate in 2008 was “the best decision that I ever made …”

Joe Biden’s response?  "Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let's get that straight,"…

Surprise! Ranger School Rigged for Females

Something about the story of the first two women ever to graduate from the Army’s prestigious Ranger course seemed hokey. I guess I’m always suspicious of “firsts.” Our society is so fixated on them that it creates an incentive to fudge facts and lower standards.

Liberals will of course contest my assertion, though these are the same people who don’t really object to lowering standards in academia to get more minorities in the door, lowering them again to…

America: When The Light Was Shadowed By Darkness

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton blame guns and gunmakers for the shootings that have been occurring across the country.  Both feigning outrage. Both on peretual campaign mode. Both remain disturbingly silent when it comes to the gun violence that occur on a daily basis in cities like Chicago - which is the mecca of pro, iment radicals like Rahm Emanuel, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan and more. It's also the old stomping ground of both Obama and Hillary as well.  Both have so…

When the State decides who can die.

California will become the fifth state in the nation to allow terminally ill patients to legally end their lives using doctor-prescribed drugs after Gov. Jerry Brown announced Monday he signed one of the most emotionally charged bills of the year.

"In the end, I was left to reflect on what I would want in the face of my own death," Brown said in the…

"Utopia" Disrupted In Oregon

Like other liberally motiivated and dominated States, like NY, IL, and of course our capitol,  Oregon is an anti-self defense State.  Where the Second Amendment, like our First Amendment, our National Security policies, and even the very US Constitution, has been buried under thousands of pages of laws and regulations that defy our Natural Rights to defend ourselves, our loved ones, and our property.

When a Citizen is stripped of these rights, they instantly become targets for…
