January 2012 Editorials (14)

We have won a battle and not realized it.  If everyone will recall, the first two years of the movement,  the establishment kept talking about being the "loyal opposition",  and meaning that it was part of the DC game to disagree, rant and rave against the other party, and then kiss and make up,  just to do it again.  The problem was,  It was the Republicans/conservatives doing all the giving.

Now , due largely to the sweeping victories in the mid term elections of primarily…

Watching the Democrat debate between Barack Obama and Barry Obama.

Watching the SOTU address last night was just like watching the debates for the Republicans without all the contenders. While praising the Bail outs as a success, he condemned them as being improper and promising to never allow it to happen again. Calling on a renewed investment on energy independence after his announcement on the Canadian oil pipeline. And Tax hikes on people making more than 1 million dollars and a corporate tax rate for all companies of 30 %. He promised no increase in…

I'm back.....

I've been away for awhile. I cut my teeth here on 912 Communique (and a couple of other 912 sites) in the beginning of this national nightmare. I had never been very politically active, had really not given politics much thought. I always assumed everyone felt the same way about America I did. I was dumbfounded when an overt Marxist was elected to the Presidency.

My world turned upside down. What my father, my grandfathers, my uncles and I had fought for was being voluntarily…

News from November 4. 1949.

Ode to the welfare state:

Mr. Truman’s St Paul, Minn., pie-for-everybody speech last night reminded us that, at the tail end of the recent session of congress, Representative Clarence J. Brown (R-Ohio) Jammed in to the Congressional Record the following Poem, describing its Author only as “a prominent Democrat of the State of Georgia”:

The series finale of "M-A-S-H" had held the title of the most-watched TV show in the United States for 27 years. It is now No. 3.

More than 13 million people tuned in to watch the Emmy Awards on CBS

The 84th Academy…

It's funny because it's true and it's not funny because it's true.

The military gets axed while record number in government anti-poverty programs.

Barack Obama wants to reduce the military force from 1.4 million to 500 thousand over several years; starting with a half million reduction immediately as the war in Iraq winds down. This leave the future of American security in question. Look up “Task Force Smith” for a historical reference. Evidently feeding the millions of parasites on generational welfare is more important than defending our country as we can no longer afforded to do both. With 40 million on food stamps, 10 million on…

Goals, Dreams and Ideas.

Here we are into a new year now. What are our Goals? What do we want to accomplish this year? While I am talking about this site I am also talking about our personal involvement in our society.

I think I am safe to say we all want to improve our country; we all want a better future for our children. What are we as individuals going to do to improve it?

Think; if every one of us picked up one piece of trash every day for a week, that would be 7000 pieces of less trash on our…
