Never Trust a Muslim

Here is why. I read this on Free Republic.

"Fight against such as those to whom the Scriptures were given [Jews and Christians]...

until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued." (Surah 9:29)

"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers

[non-moslims] but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29)

"It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land."

(Surah… Continue

People United v. FEC - A Good Decision?

Citizens United v FEC. The administration thinks that this was a poor decision as evidenced by the 'shout out' given to the SCOTUS during the State of the Union Address. Therefore this decision must be a good decision? Maybe.

I think the best way to decide if this was a good decision since it is actually a constitutional issue is to go back to the constitution. The Constitution is a contract between We The People and the Republic. In some of the arguments I have had concerning this… Continue

Reparations for Slavery.

I think that it is time to take a look at the whole idea of reparations for slavery; I believe that it is time to end slavery in the United States of America and pay reparations for those held in involuntary servitude. We should start by looking at what slavery is.

The state of one bound in servitude as the property of a slaveholder or household.

The practice of owning slaves.

A mode of production in which slaves constitute the principal work… Continue

State of Confusion

During the Presidents State of the Union Speech I was repeatedly overcome with the urge to look out of the window to make sure I was not living in some kind of a third world Banana Republic. From his Unpresidential Attacks on the courts and the private sector, to his condescending lecture of congress, to his obviously insincere attempt to praise the nations history and the resilience of it’s people. The President painted a picture of a country in dire straits. While it is true that our economy… Continue

I repeat: not one single dime.

From Barack Obama’s SOTU Speech

In order to save our children from a future of debt, we will also end the tax breaks for the wealthiest 2% of Americans. But let me perfectly clear, because I know you'll hear the same old claims that rolling back these tax breaks means a massive tax increase on the American people: if your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime. In fact, the recovery plan… Continue

Uncle Samta Claus, I Want a Pony

It’s Christmas Eve and Jimmy has just been tucked snugly in bed. The anxiety for the day to come has him plum tuckered out. As he drifts off to sleep the last vision that passed across his mind is a photographic memory of the crayon written letter he sent to Santa,

Dear Santa,

It’s me Jimmy. I have been a very good boy this year and I got all A-s on my report card. All I want for Christmas is a pony; a brown pony with white spots is what I really want but any pony will do… Continue

In My Opinion.

I have often tried to describe debate and define the difference between someone’s opinion and honest debate.

In an Honest attempt at debate, facts are presented and ideas based on those facts are discussed; opinions can conflict but the facts can not. The premises for the discussion should be examined with great attention to detail; opinions can be influenced by personal experience, education, personal deduction of facts available, or just personal feelings.

When someone… Continue

The Pursuit of Happiness

Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread man.

Amongst the Ideas of John Locke’s treatises on government is the idea of Natural laws. Laws governed by the forces of nature and God given rights to man. The right to pursue happiness in what ever way seemed most appropriate to the individual; as long as it did not injure or incur a debt or obligation on his neighbor. This is exemplified by the right to be stupid. Or as we call it to day “Americas Funniest… Continue

I'm Listening, People," Instead of "Listen Up, People!" by Sarah Palin

Mr. President: Please Try, "I'm Listening, People," Instead of "Listen Up, People!"Share

We’ve now seen three landslide Republican victories in three states that President Obama carried in 2008. From the tea parties to the town halls to the Massachusetts Miracle, Americans have tried to make their opposition to Washington’s big government agenda loud and clear. But the President has decided that this current discontent isn’t his fault, it’s ours. He seems to think we… Continue

American Vote Invite

I think we all agree that to really change the direction of our country, limit spending and limit government, we need to unite the majority vote. We have set up an organization to do that very thing. All patriots should join with us to achieve that end. We do not suggest that you quit other groups or stop other actions ...just that you enlist your vote with ours.

We have a new group site but it is private for the time being. To join you must be invited. You may request an invitation as… Continue

An apology to women, wives and mothers

In my Blog, “Experience is the best teacher!” I received comments about women choosing lazy men; I did state that and I feel that an explanation is in order.

First I would apologize to The many fine mothers and wives who were offended by it, I by no means wanted to paint women with a broad brush of stupidity; however there are many young women that make bad choices due to lack of guidance from parents.…

Barry claims He’s fighting for us! Really?

It sure as hell doesn’t look that way!

#1. He’s against big pharmaceutical companies taking advantage of the public.

Mid June 2009 Obama meets secretly w/ PHRMA officials’ after taking a serious hit over the escalating cost of his health care plan. Days later, Barry got the full backing of the pharmaceutical industry and its promise to save Americans $80 billion in health care costs.

I guess that means instead increasing costs by $ 180 billion it will be a meager $100.00… Continue

Misplaced Populism

It was not that long ago that a newly inaugurated President Obama, projecting an image of sure-footed confidence, stood on the steps of the capitol, chiding his critics about the shifting sand beneath them. Now with his poll numbers in free fall and reeling from election defeats where establishment democrats supporting his agenda were rejected despite the political clout he expended on their behalf, the president seems desperate to find solid ground.

Being a community organizer and… Continue

Constrain Men - Genius of Constitution

A Constituion should be structured to permanently protect the PEOPLE from the human FRAILTIES of their Rulers".

Oh, I,m sorry it was!!!!!! John Locke's "Second Essay Concerning Civil Government" pp. 75-76 par 222 hits the proverbial nail on the head:

"The reason why men enter into society is the PRESERVATION OF PROPERTY....(Therefore,) whenever the LEGISLATORS (Any elected Official) endeavour to take away and destroy the property of people (TAXATION), or to reduce them to… Continue

Common Sense Economics - What Bills Are In Your Wallet?

The easiest indicator of the economy and inflation has always been "Whats in your wallet". And by that I mean what denomination of bills (Federal Reserve Paper) you are exchanging or receiving for goods and services?

Here is the NEW chart:

$50 - New $20 I can't leave the house without Mr. Grant. Using for common items.
